What widths do five-bar gates come in?
From narrow pedestrian gates up to wide field openings, commonly built or supplied to fit openings of around 3 to 16 feet. We size the gate and posts to your opening.
Can I have a matching pedestrian gate?
Yes, a matching pedestrian gate alongside the field gate is a common and tidy arrangement, and we hang both on properly set posts.
Softwood or hardwood field gates?
Softwood is the traditional, cost-effective choice. We also build in oak and other hardwoods where longer life and a premium look are wanted.
How are the gates hung?
On posts set to carry the weight, with galvanised ironmongery, so the gate swings true and does not drop on its hinges over time.
