What we build.

We work with sawn oak, pressure-treated softwood, hardwood capping and oil-rubbed steel ironmongery, chosen to match the property and the landscape it sits in, not chosen because it was on offer at the merchant.

Garden structures
Beyond the boundary we build the timber that furnishes a garden. Garden studios and home offices,
hexagonal gazebos, pergolas and trellised archways, raised beds, potting sheds, log stores and
compost bays.

How we work.
Every job starts with a site visit. We walk the boundary with you, measure the levels, talk through what
the fence has to do, privacy, security, visual continuity, livestock control, and what it has to look like.
We send a written quotation within 48 hours.
Once you've signed off, we book a date and arrive on it.
Our crews work two-to-a-job for most domestic installs.
We turn up in tracked machinery on sensitive ground,
so we don't leave the lawn in worse condition than we found it.
Materials chosen to age, not fail.
For domestic work we lean toward materials that age well. Sawn oak posts, capped to keep the rain
off the end grain. Pressure-treated softwood for cost-effective long runs. Hardwood for gates, where
the joinery sees daily use.
Galvanised hardware throughout. We don't use anything that will rust in three winters. All fittings hand-
set, never just nailed.
What happens after we leave.
A well-built fence lasts twenty-five years before the posts need any attention. We tell clients what they
can expect at year five, year ten, year twenty-five, and we're happy to come back for repairs and
replacement section work on jobs we built ourselves. We'll also look at jobs we didn't build, where
someone else is struggling to fix what they've installed.
